Went to T3 with all my rascals to send my brother off. He's going Taiwan for 3 weeks. (For NS...)
His flight was at 2am!! But we didn't stay that long la, think I'll go bonkers with all the whinning and grumblings of my 3 kids.

MRT Trips with Kieran

Lamb Chop goes to Childcare

Today's the 1st day in childcare. As a mother, I'm very proud of her. She didn't cry out loud or threw tantrums at all. Although she seem to be abit teary, she still say goodbye to me.
I went to fetch her at 4pm, schools ends at 7pm. The principal advised us to bring her home early for the 1st few days. This will helps her in adapting to school.
I was delighted to hear from her teacher, she's coping well and playing with her new friends.

Trimelle went along also at 7am in the morning. To show her support and at the same time, familiarize her with childcare setting :)

Hadn't got a chance to update my blog :(

Other than working shift, taking care of the kids.. I'm now going for driving lessons also. Time is very tight and "Rest" is scarce. Having a fierce battle with my dark circles now. Imagine writing my post at this time..

Some Updates..
Lamb Chop will be going to Childcare soon. Had already enrolled her in, starting in October.

Pork Chop will also be enrolled in Childcare but she's only going in when she's 18mths old which is during December. At 15mths old, she's 10.06kg.

Ratatoulie is getting chubbier.. at 4mths old, he's already 8.6kg :) and surprisingly, he can already flipped! His Jie jies only flipped at 6mths old.

Too busy and exhausted.. working shifts, taking care of kids at home and ferrying between Sengkang (my mum's hse) and Jurong to fetch Kieran to and fro was a "physically-draining" task.

To make life more easy, me and Daddy XS had decided to hire a maid. Now I'm currently on NPL. Hope the maid can come faster and I could go back to work! Seriously, I don't belong to the SAHM group... 24/7 with the kids? I rather bang my head on the wall..

Being a Mommie of 3 kids, this is what I experienced daily.

Wake up at 7am, take care of Trimelle and lil Kieran while MIL fetches Ely to sch.

Had a quick breakfast

Then started my hsehold chores for the day.

Bath the 3 kids.

Lunchie Time!

Tried to make all 3 kids have their afternoon naps. But it's always Mission Impossible!

After the nap, it's playtime!

I always ended in this state after playing with them...

Dinner-time!

Some "squeezed" out time for me especially when Daddie XS is home after work.

After all this saga, time to sleep.. But it doesn't stop here for me. I still got to wake up during the middle of the night to feed lil Kieran...

Lamb chop came home after school, happily jumping around in the house. She told me she baked a cake in school and she wanted me to have it :)
I was quite surprised, didn't know that K1 had bakery lesson also.

Mommie's friends called up and asked her out for dinner. Mommie quickly changed me and Trimelle. In a jiffy, we were all in the cab to Holland V.

As there's nothing to do in the cab, we had photo-time again!

After a 15mins wait, Auntie Seraphina and Auntie Amy came. Auntie Shan could only meet us up later because she's having a training course.

Trimelle's 1st Lunar Birthday

Well... this post came slightly late. Trimell turn ONE yesterday, 30th May. It was her 1st lunar birthday.
We prepared a couple of items such as book, calculator, drumstick and a pen. Rule of game - Trimelle got to pick one item which will decide her future ambition :)

The items for choosing.

Trimelle reaches for the pen straight away.

Oh.. she saw the yummilicious drumstick! Will she gave up the pen?

Argh!~ She gave up the pen and touches the drumstick!!

She managed to peel off a small chunk and happily put it to her mouth!

Okok.. Mommie's decided to have another round! She don't want Meimei to be a glutton/chef for life.

Now we re-arranged the items...

Yeah~ She reached for the pen again :)

Conclusion:
Both Mommie and Ah Ma said Meimei chose pen as she reaches for it on both rounds.
So Trimelle will excel in her studies such as writing but on the other hand, she will be a glutton also. Mommie said she can foresee Trimelle doing homework and munching tibits in the future :P

Reason?

Mommie had gave birth to baby brother on Monday, 05/05/08

Here's the story!

Momie had backaches coming on and off for the whole day.

6pm: She called labour ward at and asked if this was the start of the labour. Was told to wait til the contractions came in at every 8mins then checked in to labour ward.

8pm: Mommie decided to turn in since both of us had fallen asleep and TV got no show either.. lied in bed and suddenly feel that the backaches becoming more intense.. Decided that it's time to time the contractions and observed for the intensity

8.45pm: Mommie said this is it liao.. contractions coming at 5mins, 8mins kinds. Wake Daddie up.

9pm: On the way to nuh.

9.30pm: Reached labour ward and did check-in.

9.45pm: Mommie was being checked on the CTG machine and the Doctor on call said Mommie's about 2cm opened :)

10.15pm: Request for the laughing gas (Entonox), a Senior Doctor came by and checked on Mommie. Was now 5cm opened!! The nurse quickly called for Dr Chua to come down.

10.45pm: Dr Chua came, found out that Mommie's already 8cm opened.. Labour was progressing very fast.

11pm: Got the urge to push.. waterbag breaks

11pm+: Baby Mickey is out! :)

#1 Me, Trimelle and Baby Mickey were all born on a Monday!

#2 Me being the eldest was borned in the afternoon. Trimelle was borned in the evening and Baby Mickey was borned at night. :)

BB Mickey is way getting too big.. Mommie's tummy running out of space, went for a growth scan appt today. Even the gynae went speechless at Mickey's weight!

Mommie took some photos of me at the Day Surgery Center. PoPo came down and bought me Teddy Bears and a Get Well Soon balloon.

While waiting for my turn, I was given some colourings by the nurse to pass the time.

Finally, it's my turn.

At abt 5pm, I'm being pushed out.. Still drowsy..

Today's the 3rd day post operation, I'm doing well now. Appetite's returning also :)

Some Facts and Tips.....

What Are Tonsils & Adenoids?
Tonsils and adenoids are part of a "ring" of glandular/lymphoid tissue encircling the back of the throat. Tonsils are visible at the back of the mouth, one on each side. The adenoid is found high in the throat, right behind the nose and needs special instruments in order to see it. Figures 1 & 2 show the anatomical sites of tonsils and adenoids.

What Are Tonsils And Adenoids For?
They act as "policemen" and help to form antibodies to "germs" that invade the nose, mouth and throat. This function may be important in young children up to 3 years old but there is no evidence that it is important after that. Studies have shown that children that have tonsils/adenoids removed suffer no loss in their immunity to diseases.

When Should Surgery (Adenoidectomy/Tonsillectomy) Be Done?
Recurrent Tonsillitis

Frequent acute infections causing high fever and sore throat.

Snoring / Obstructive Sleep Apnoea

Enlarged adenoids / tonsils causing nose and throat obstruction to breathing while asleep. If untreated, it may lead to complications involving the heart and lungs.

Chronic Otitis Media with Effusion

Today, I'm going for my tonsils removal. Need to be at the operating theatre at 12noon, the surgery is scheduled at 2pm.
Hopes everything goes well. Mommie had already bought a tub of Ben&Jerry vanilla flavour ice cream to cheer me on. :)

She had a rojak of illnesses.. sore throat, diarrhoea and now false measles..

After that episode of Mommie having threatened pre-term labour. Recently me and Mommie got admitted together!

Yup.. You've heard me. We got admitted to the hospital together. I woke up with fever on tuesday morning, fever were high spiking til 39.9degrees. The next day, I'm still having high fever and got a bad tummyache too thus Mommie rushed me to A&E.
Over there, the doctor commented that I was toxic-looking and I needed to be admitted straight away. Firstly to rule out any appendicitis. Mommie stayed with me thru out.

But suddenly on thursday which is V-day, Mommie experienced bleeding and painful contractions!! Brother Mickey is so SO naughty!! Mommie was being wheeled to the labour ward, was given meds to stop the contractions and 2 painful injections to boost Brother Mickey's lungs.. PoPo had to rush down to take care of me. Haiz~ Suddenly all of these had to happen together.
Mommie was warded for 3 days while I'm warded for 6 days.

Now back at home, Trimelle starts having fever also.. Hope she recovers fast!

Okok, back to the title.. Everyone esp Daddie had been kan cheong plus plus eversince he received a phone call from Mommie the day before.

Mommie was warded in the labour ward for 3 hrs for observation as Mommie experienced bleeding and tightening. This scared off everyone as we had not made a single preparation for no3 yet.

Now Mommie is back at home for CRIB. Hope bb bro stays inside Mommie's tummy til full term. God Bless~~

CNY Shopping!

Now it's exactly 1 month to CNY. Mommie had 3 days off in a row, it's a rare treat! To make full use of it, we went Vivocity yesterday. PoPo and Uncle JH came along too..

We took a train there, it was so crowded that all of us were standing until a kind auntie gave up her seat to Mommie.. Phew~ It's not easy being preggie, pushing a pram and with me along in the MRT.

Lucky, we managed our way home in one whole piece. Both me and Meimei fall asleep the moment we hit the bed.. It was already 1130pm :)

Went to IMM the other day with PoPo and Uncle JH. They came over to deliver my birthday pressie. It's a set of study table and matching chair!

Went to Ajisen Ramen to have our lunch, but when my food came.. suddenly I've no appetite.. got a tummyache

Eversince, Trimelle came along and a happy news of Mommie being preggie again.. We hadn't enjoyed ourselves...
So Mommie booked a chalet for a 4D3N stay!!! Yippie!!

This was my 1st time to a chalet stay, Trimelle came along too. :)

Day 1

Check in time is after 4pm.. after settling and unpacking our luggages. We went scouting for food.

I'm 4 years old!!!
Headed to Burger King for Breakfast. Next, Daddie brought me to Xplorerkids to have some fun while Mommie headed back to the room to wait for the delivery of my birthday cake!!

The whole afternoon was spent preparing for the buffet and bbq.

Finally the guests started streaming in at 5pm

PoPo and GongGong stayed with us the previous night. Morning, we head to Kopitiam for Breakfast. Next we headed back to our room to change into our swimming suits. We are going to Wild Wild Wet!!!

Well, the post title said it all. Mommie is expecting a baby boy this time round! Now we can start buying baby blue stuff.

This was what happened when Mommie breaks the news

Scenario 1) Daddie was SO over the sky that every SmS on that day to Mommie.. He added a "WooHoo~"

Scenario 2) PoPo was practically crying with joy over the phone. Mommie had to hang up the phone in the end, cant continue the tele-conservation with a sobbing PoPo.

Scenario 3) I went excited seeing the scan Mommie showed me. I went to tell Uncle XL about the good news. When I went back to the room, I said.. "Finally I got a Didi that has a "tail".... hahaha

Finally, we are blogging again!
The whole family hadn't been well. Me and Trimelle was suffering from bronchitis. I'm on the way to recovery but Meimei was still on nebuliser.. Poor girl..
Daddie suffered a bad knee pain too. Mommie fell sick after taking care of us all.

We celebrated Daddie's bdae in advance because Mommie would be busy working on the actual day. Bought a polo shirt from Kappa as the gift and a Belgium divine choco cake from Prima Deli..

Also along the way, Mommie bought some lovely socks and a Musical Funkeys toy for Trimelle

Daddie and Mommie can insert their photos in the toy so Meimei will not miss them so much :)

Virgin Trip

It's Mommie's 1st time to Vivo City and also her "Virgin" attempt on handling 2 kids outside the house all by herself.

Tools needed to make a sucessful trip
1) A sturdy pram
2) Baby sling pouch
3) Milk powder, bottle and pacifier
4) Some sweets and tibits to keep me busy

Walk around Vivo aimlessly.. because it's our 1st time there so abit garang-garbo. At level 2, there's a open space children playground. I played for half an hour under the scorching sun and got sunburnt in the end.

Headed to Kim Gary for a late lunch (it's was already 3pm)

I've got something up my sleeves this morning. As usual I woke up at 7.40am, went to brush my teeth and washed up. After which, I would proceed to change my clothes to prepare myself for school however I went back to the room. Sat down cross-legged and folded my arms then I talked loudly "I DON'T LIKE SCHOOL. I DON'T WANT TO GO TO SCHOOL". Mommie passsed by the room and saw what I did. Next moment, it's ear-deafening... Mommie screaming her head off me.. saying it's already 8.15am and I had not changed my clothes. Ah Ma came and joined in the screaming competition as well. For your information, school starts at 8.30am.
Somehow or what, the ladies managed to get me to school on time!
But the end result - I got 2 tight slaps on my butt.. :(

Daddie said I am lucky to escape this from him.. If he saw that i will probably be 'eating noodles'.
Me to Daddie: Don't worry...probably next time round mei mei will be 'eating noodles' with me... :P

Mentioned as above. What does it really mean? I chanced upon a few items in the room and Mommie told me it's her and Daddie's pak tor tools.. Mommie did explain to me once about pak tor.. my conclusion - a girl and boy get together and play happily.
So now I'm also into the pak tor game! Why? Because I've a "boy" friend in class and we played together everytime. Isn't that so? :P

Had lotsa fun there. On the 1st day, we went to the Indoor Theme Park and played the whole day! Closing time was 12MN, you could guess how tired but happy I am. keke..
On the 2nd day, we did some shopping and went to the SnowWorld to brave some cold!
3rd day was in a rush as we woke up late, did some last min shopping.. Really enjoyed myself (",)

Ah Ma, Ah Gong and Uncle XL went to Malaysia last nite. Things are still doing well at home. This is Daddie and Mommie's first time handling 2 kids by themselves :)
But the weather isn't giving us face. Thru out day and night, it kept pouring.. as a result:
